A nautical theme runs through Seaweed cottage, with a colour pallet borrowed from the beautiful Combe Martin Bay, which is just a skimming stones throw away.
General
The cottage, which has a nautical theme, is entered via a bright conservatory. From here you walk into a light filled open plan living area featuring a comfy lounge, a dining area and a very well-equipped kitchen. French doors lead out to a small patio area where you’ll find a built-in BBQ table and chairs, and lockable storage for kayaks, SUP boards or bikes. This separate entrance to the patio and handy outside tap is ideal for dog owners and watersports enthusiasts to minimise the amount of sand brought into the cottage.
Kitchen
The spacious kitchen has a breakfast bar for two, or a large dining table for 6 in the bright and stylish dining area, making the space great for lazy mornings over coffee, or family gatherings over lunch and dinner. The well-equipped kitchen is completed by a fridge/freezer, an electric oven and hob, a dishwasher, a microwave and a washing machine. There is also ample storage space for all your groceries.
Living Area
The lounge with its two sofas and armchair provides a relaxed open plan setting for cosy evenings in front of the TV. In the winter months, light the wood burning stove to create a lovely home-away-from-home atmosphere. The house is also very recently renovated with excellent heating and insulation for winter months, to make things as cozy as possible.
Bedroom 1, Ground Floor
A handy downstairs bedroom features a standard double bed, chest of drawers and a comfy armchair. This front facing bedroom has just a small step on entry and is right next door to the downstairs bathroom, which has a walk-in wet room styled shower and toilet, and is therefore perfect for parents, slightly less able guests, or another couple as part of a group who want some privacy.
Bedroom 2
A large double/twin bedroom with views to the front, side and rear of the house. The room has flexible link beds, and on request in advance this double aspect bedroom can either have a super king size (6’) bed or two 3’ single beds. There is also an armchair, a large wardrobe and partial sea views. Please don’t forget to request how you would like the beds made up upon booking!
Bedroom 3
The second of the first-floor bedrooms at Seaweed is front facing has a standard double bed and a chest of drawers and two bedside tables. It is a lovely cozy and characterful cottage bedroom.

“I have to say the cottage was awesome and we loved our time at Seaweed. Everything was catered for and we loved the finishing touches and welcome pack when we arrived, just so welcoming! Location was brilliant, right in the middle of all the local attractions and beaches...and a very easy walk to the local pub as well. We can’t fault anything, Nikki and Mark have done a brilliant job and we’ll be back for sure in the future!”
